Shine with Kindness 2022
Once again, our Yoga Charity Event was so special and we thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who supports our NGO "Lucky beans e.V." (www.luckybeans.eu) through their participation. With your donations we can support further important projects in South Africa. Special thanks to Edoardo Striani (www.edoardostriani.com), who accompanied the event with his magical Handpan music this year. Also a big thank you to Lea and Frank from Jardeco (www.jardeco.de). Your sales hall was once again a perfect location.
Our “Shine With Kindness” charity yoga event originated in 2019.
Our main intention was to create an opportunity to experience community on the yoga mat with live music, as we come together to move and breathe for the benefit of ourselves and others.
We continue to love this event, and the community that joins us to share this inspiring experience.
So please join us for this unique yoga event held in the inspiring building of Jardeco, followed by tea and cake in the garden.
The Yoga session:

This 90 minute practice will offer a combination of yin and soft flow
(suitable for all levels)

Seva project
In Yoga, SEVA (Say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service - how can we serve others and give back to society. Through my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to give back to my childhood community in a small and meaningful way. Since I grew up in South Africa, this is where my heart lies in an attempt to empower young children in the Lidgetton community where it is often challenging to have hope and see the light. Our small Angel Ruth’s Soup Kitchen is a space where the children can go for a warm meal, as well as to a space where they know they are safe and cared for, can play freely and learn.
I offer a percentage of my teaching earnings back into this community, knowing that is is well used and goes directly to the source. To support the growing needs in the Lidgetton community, we set-up Lucky Beans e.V. in Germany in 2015. Through our charity status we are able to offer the possibility of EU citizens receiving a tax reclamation from any donation you may wish to make.
